Despite Roku being the pioneer in modern streaming boxes, the Apple TV has become the device all others are measured by.  But has that changed with the recent release of the Roku 3 just a few weeks ago?  We aren’t sure about that, but we know Roku has certainly become even more compelling.  At only $99, there’s really no downside to it (buy now).

Podcast #504: New ways to watch TV

Going way back in the history of watching TV at home, we all used to have antennas so we could watch over the air broadcasts.  Eventually Cable TV service emerged and changed the way we would get our favorite shows at home.  Then came Satellite, then IPTV and we were in heaven.  Fast forward a few years and prices for TV service have constantly skyrocketed, leading us all to become frustrated at the lack of options.  But there may be a way out.

Podcast #420: iPad Review

Everyone must be aware by now that Apple has released a new product called the iPad.  It's selling pretty well and, according to some, may become the next big thing in technology. We've had a chance to play with it for a while, so we'll give you our take on it. Our biggest question: How does it apply to the HDTV and Home Theater market?  There have big some huge fads in the past, and some have been huge duds.  We'll let you know if the iPad makes the grade.
