Glad to hear Braden is going with wired Ubiquiti network products, although a lot of what he said wasn't exactly correct.

I use the following Ubiquiti products in my house:

- Router: UDM-PRO
- Switch (PoE): USW-24-POE
- Wireless APs (three total): UAP-AC-PRO

It's a great setup. Their line of access points vary in price, but average $100 each, contrary to what Braden said about them costing $600 or $700 each. Possibly, Braden had meant to say that Ubiquiti's security cameras were $600 or $700, not the APs. Regardless, Ubiquiti security cameras are actually very expensive and I do not recommend them.

A much better security camera solution is what I use: a Synology NAS (I have the DS918+, although anything less expensive works) as the NVR and Amcrest wired cameras (I have four IP8M-T2499EW cameras). Synology even has a terrific phone app. I even prefer it to Nest's camera solution. Wired is always better.

As always, love the show. Keep up the excellent work!
