Really enjoy your old days stories. Interesting to hear how that type of work was behind the scenes.

I really enjoyed your ADSG stories. During the eighties I was a software engineer working in Orange County in the storage business, and everything you said resonated with me.

I too worked in a startup environment and later in a large corporation. I remember the long nights, the long stays essentially being held hostage at customer sites, and the internal politics. I even had an interrupt bug similar to the one Ara talked about -- those are real killers. I also had a big laugh when Ara said one of his higher ups told him the "head of Sony Entertainment" knew who he was. My bosses tried that line on me at one point as well. It was described as the Eye of Mordor from Lord of the Rings suddenly being turned on me.
