HT Guys Extra #2 - Oppo Digital's Nathanial Plain

We first heard about Oppo upconverting DVD players way back in 2006 while reading AVS Forum. At that time we really didn’t have much content to watch on our quite expensive HDTVs. So when we found a device that could take DVDs and scale them to HD resolution we had to own one! What we saw was quite impressive. Our $5000 investment in a new HDTV was finally validated.

Oppo had a cult like following that you don’t see with too many manufacturers and as a result have done quite well since their founding in 2004. Today they build high quality Blu-ray players that are sold on-line.

We recorded an interview with Nathaniel Plain Tech support lead at Oppo Digital and asked him a few questions about Oppo, Blu-ray, and 3D.
