Great demo! I experimented with it the other night and came to most of the same conclusions. The interface is very attractive, and the commands are reasonably responsive, but the whole experience is somewhat tainted by the load times for the program material. It really doesn't take THAT long, but it does affect the usability.
That said, it's amazing how spoiled we've become by the capabilities of smartphones and iDevices. Imagine if a manufacturer had shown you this video just a few years ago at CES. You would have been drooling.
