INSTEON Beta Testing is Open for more Testers

We have just learned that Insteon in need of more beta testers for their home automation products. In addition to needing more testers from the US and Canada, they need international testers.  They are now actively selling products outside of North America having launched new plug-in, wire-in, computer interfaces, and remote controls for Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.  Here is an example of the new plug-in module for France:

They are looking for new and existing home automation enthusiasts. Participation is free.  All they ask is testers participate in a couple surveys and to contribute their thoughts and experiences via a testing forum on the Internet.

Details from the Program:

When new hardware is available for preview, invitations will be sent to select participants. We select testers for each product based on feedback provided in the questionnaire (see below). If selected, a pre-production unit will be shipped to you.

If the preview hardware proves to be sound and no hardware or firmware changes are needed, the product is yours to keep. If testing uncovers changes that need to be made, we will replace your hardware with a shipping version when available.

The quality of your feedback will ensure your inclusion in future hardware testing programs. If you provide thorough and thoughtful feedback in email, beta forum posts, and surveys, you will most likely be invited to future product testing. All preview programs are subject to change and may be discontinued at any time.
