This is the only HDTV podcast that I've turned off because of the bullshit. I turned it off twice in fact.
The first time was when your "expert" said to spend more money on the electronics than the speakers. I could see why, as a sale man, he would say that. After all, good speakers treated well can last for 20 or 30 years. Electronics on the other hand start to get pretty dated after 5 years. Good way to make more cash.
Today, a couple days later, I started listening again after I forgot about his comment. Then he started going on about speaker wire. "Of course the good wire if better!" Nothing to back it up. He just said it so it must be true. This time I deleted the podcast.
This guy is a snake oil salesman that fleeces people out of their money. Lucky, I bet they are rich people so they can afford it.
You should take more care in choosing your guests. This guy throws a shadow over your whole show in my mind and I don't know if I should trust anything I hear on it.
