HT Guys Forums > Panasonic VIERA TC-P50GT25

Hi guys, just started listening your podcast a few weeks ago, very interesting.

I will be getting my second HDTV next week (Panasonic VIERA TC-P50GT25) along with the Panasonic DMP-BD85K WiFi Enabled Blu-Ray Disc Player and would like to know if anybody has any calibration setting I can try for the TV. My guess there will probably be different settings for sports (big football fan) and movies so a few options will help.

Appreciate your inputs and keep up the good work

Thanks
VLopez

Here is one setup from the plasma buying guide site. Enjoy!!! I'm looking at that same unit.

color:65
tint:+11

This TV still has a good vivid picture

VIVID??????? That's the worst possible setting anyone could choose. The set has a THX picture mode which should be the starting point. Sharpness does *not* increase SHARPNESS! It should be set at the minimum unless watching very noisy old sources! i. e. old VCR tapes.

Late post hope people still lurking on this thread, I have a Panasonic Viera TC-P54g20 and would like to know if I could use the same settings as the Panasonic VIERA TC-P50GT25. I can't seem to find calibrations on my set...thank you in advance
