Get a Free PS3 When You Purchase a SONY HDTV

Last week we reported on a special offer in Australia that if you purchased a SONY HDTV you would receive a free PS3. This week SONY is offering a similar deal in the US. There are some differences however.
For a limited time when you apply and are approved for a SONY Visa card and you use the card to buy a SONY HDTV at SONY Rewards you will receive a PS3 system for free. This is a little different than the Australian deal which does not have the restriction of requiring a SONY Visa card.
But you better hurry! The credit card account needs to be opened by 12/31/07 and your purchase needs to be made by 3/31/08. If your in a hurry to start playing with your PS3, don't hold your breath. SONY says the PS3 will ship in approximately 8 - 12 weeks after your HDTV purchase. Also if you already have a SONY card you can not use this offer.
