LG 32 inch LCD (32LC2D)
Street Price $1425
720p
1600:1 Contrast Ratio
HDMI, and PC inputs
Super InPlane Switching
Built in ATSC Tuner
Nice looking cabinet with speakers on the bottom. It really looked sharp! The base did not swivel, though.
Beautiful detail. Very sharp
Skin Tones looked life like
Blacks looked good too. Some of the best blacks we've seen on an LCD.
Fast action looked OK even with the fast response time. The video did not look as smooth as a Plasma when compared side by side. A Plasma will do better with compression artifacts than the LCD.
It has a QAM tuner so if you plug in your cable you can view any unencrypted channels.
SD looks pretty decent on this set too.
Sound out of the speakers was pretty good.
In summary, this is a great TV for a bedroom but will also do well as a main unit in a small to medium sized room. Its a perfectly placed product. Better than the low end TVs out there and priced below top tier products but performs almost as well.
